Day Wise Itinerary

  • DAY 1

    JOHANNESBURG – LIVINGSTONE

    Arrival Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport

    After breakfast transfer to OR Tambo International Airport. Proceed to International Departures for your flight to Zambia, a World Heritage site with breath-taking views and thunderous sounds. The Falls are a little over a mile wide and 351 feet high, making them one-and-a half times as wide and twice as high as the Niagara Falls. This is a destination where you can still encounter herds of buffalo and elephant on their way to the Zambezi for their own sundowners. Upon arrival you will be greeted at the airport by our guide and transferred to the Avani hotel for a three-night stay. The hotel is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, just a short stroll from the falls themselves to your hotel. Late in the afternoon enjoy a Sundowner Cruise on the Zambezi River, where we hope to glimpse crocodiles and hippos, before returning to hotel.

  • DAY 2

    Victoria Falls - Tour of Vic Falls (Breakfast)

    After breakfast your driver guide will meet with you in the lobby for a Walking tour of the Victoria Falls. Our tour discovers natural beauty that is quite simply beyond belief, with stops at several vantage points to witness the sheer force of the water cascading over 90 metres to the bottom of the Zambezi gorge. The Victoria Falls is one of the most spectacular natural sights in the world, and this awe-inspiring tour takes the form of a walk in the rainforest with a knowledgeable and informative local guide. After the tour of the falls, you will have an opportunity to shop at the African Craft Market thereafter you will be dropped off at the hotel.

  • DAY 3

    Day visit to Chobe National Park (Breakfast/Lunch)

    After breakfast transfer across the Botswana border via short ferry, completing immigration and customs formalities before continuing to the Chobe National Park. Cruise on the Chobe River with a chance of spotting elephant and other game species coming to drink and bathe in the river, as well as many bird species. Lunch is served at a lodge (drinks not included). The afternoon continues with a game drive in open vehicles into the Chobe National Park, with a chance of spotting lion and buffalo as well as numerous plains game species. Transfer back across the Zambia border late afternoon.

  • DAY 4

    Airport Transfer (Breakfast)

    After breakfast transfer to Livingstone Airport for your onward flight
